Today was a quiet morning just doing chores and pottering around at Willie McLeod’s. We enjoyed a Spurtle Porridge breaky after which Vince has a nap ax we was feeling exhausted. Meanwhile I did some online genealogy research.

About half past 12 Vince woke up and so made some roast beef and gravy sandwiches (left over from yesterday’s lunch - despite sending Alan off with a whole meal for another time we still had 6 slices of beef).

After lunch we decided despite the weather, to head off to Staffin Beach at low tide to again search for the dinosaur prints.

It was soooo windy at times it nearly knocked me off my feet, and we occasionally had to shelter under rocks in the hail storms. But it was worth it because we did find some of the prints! Vince did a YaYa Vlog of our find!

We stopped in at the Staffin Store to get some bread, butter and chillies but 2 out of 3 ain’t bad - they had no chillies.

On our way down the hill be saw Alan, who unfortunately was loading a sheep into his trailer that he said was probably too far gone. He said he’d pop in for a cuppa - aka a dram of Scotch later.

We unpacked our gear and Vince worked on processing the Vlog for today. I made another steak pie - Karen’s Potluck Pie - without fresh chillies this time only chilly flakes. So I had my fingers crossed it tasted okay - It did thank goodness!

Alan popped in and we shared some drams and good “crack/craic” and a “blether!”

Due to the bad weather and almost 100% cloud cover no Aurora it Astro photography again - so we will settled in for another quite night of watching a DVD - last night we did end up finishing The Interns and also watched The Time Traveller’s Wife. Who knows what tonight will bring?
